Report on the Meeting of the GDCh Board on September 7, 2022 in Gießen

The fall meeting of the GDCh Board, which also serves to prepare the General Assembly, was held on September 7, 2022, on the sidelines of the annual conference of the Bunsen Society at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. After a break of more than two years due to the pandemic, it was the first board meeting that could be held in presence again.

The GDCh President Dr. Karsten Danielmeier welcomed the participants and opened the meeting at 9:30 am. Before entering the agenda, the president hands over the floor to the host and deputy GDCh president Prof. Peter R. Schreiner, who gives a short overview of the history and current set-up of the University of Gießen. Subsequently, the quorum is established and the agenda as well as the minutes of the previous meeting on March 4, 2022 are adopted.
