Abstract
RETRACTION: J. Li, C. Chen, R. Zhang, and X. Wang, “Nanoscale Zero-Valent Iron Particles Supported on Reduced Graphene Oxides by Using a Plasma Technique and Their Application for Removal of Heavy-Metal Ions,” Chemistry – An Asian Journal 10, no. 6 (2015): 1410-1417, https://doi.org/10.1002/asia.201500242.
The above article, published online on 27 April 2015 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com) and its correction (https://doi.org/10.1002/asia.201901451) have been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editor-in-Chief, Dinesh Talwar; the Asian Chemical Editorial Society; and Wiley-VCH GmbH. Following the publication of the correction, additional concerns were raised regarding its adequacy. The partial raw data provided by the authors failed to offer a satisfactory explanation and was deemed insufficient to verify the integrity of the results. Significant issues remain unresolved concerning the TEM images, XRD patterns, and XPS data. Additionally, unacknowledged figure duplication has been identified between this article and another publication from the same time period by the same group of authors, without proper attribution to the original source. As a result, the editors have lost confidence in the integrity of the published data and consider the conclusions of the manuscript to be compromised. The authors apologize for the errors and any inconvenience caused.
