The biannual meeting of the Austrian Chemical Society, traditionally called ”Österreichische Chemietage”, is an attractive forum for chemists from Austria and its neighboring countries. Chemists from universities, government and industry as well as high school teachers are cordially invited to present their recent research results and exchange ideas. Especially young scientists are encouraged to attend and introduce their research to a broader audience.
The meeting will include plenary lectures by invited guests as well as short lectures (15 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion) and an extended poster session with topics from all fields of chemistry. The main focus at the 2011 meeting will be ”Innovations in the International Year of Chemistry”. In addition, several mini-symposia will be arranged covering a variety of chemical topics. For young chemists, a discussion on industrial employment possibilities will be organized. A multitude of chemical enterprises will join the exhibition and present their products and services. The Austrian Chemical Society is looking forward to meeting you at the Austrian Chemistry
