Multicomponent Reactions of Isocyanides: Can We Still Make Useful “Old” Reactions?

Drawing on our recent contributions in the field, the presentation will focus on the redesign and reactivity expansion of classical MCR platforms through the incorporation of new substrates, domino processes, post-condensation cyclizations, and mechanistic control. Special attention will be given to the development of structurally complex and pharmacologically relevant scaffolds from simple starting materials under efficient and atom-economical conditions.
