Metal oxide particles are used in many very different application cases like reinforcement of elastomers, free flow, anti caking, coating, oral care and battery applications. 

Waterbased synthesis processes have a very high potential for a green production of metal oxide particles.However the high capillary forces of water and the high heat of vaporization are a big challenge for a green production process. New ways of synthesis can face the challenge.
