Continuous‐Flow Suzuki–Miyaura Coupling in Water and Organic Solvents Promoted by Blends of Stabilized Convoluted Polymeric Palladium Catalysts and Polymeric Auxiliary Materials

A heterogeneous flow Suzuki–Miyaura coupling has been carried out. A water or aqueous organic solution of aryl halides and arylboronic acids (left-hand side) was continuously injected into a flow column cartridge filled with convoluted polymeric Pd catalysts and stabilizing polymeric auxiliary materials (orange balls) along with sea sand (white balls). The products, which included liquid crystals, pharmaceutical compounds, and organic LED compounds, were eluted from the column (right-hand side).
