Chemistry Europe Announces Fellows Class 2024-2025

Chemistry Europe, the association of 16 chemical societies from 15 European countries, renowned for its publication of a family of high-quality scholarly chemistry journals and the magazine ChemistryViews, is pleased to announce the appointment of 22 new Chemistry Europe Fellows. This distinguished group has been selected for their exceptional contributions to Chemistry Europe, embodying excellence in research, support, creativity and innovation, thus reflecting the breadth and depth of talent within Chemistry Europe.

The Chemistry Europe Fellows will be formally recognized by their respective national societies and celebrated at a special reception during the 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress in Antwerp in July 2026.

The Chemistry Europe Fellows program, awarded biannually since 2015, acknowledges outstanding members of the Chemistry Europe societies, whose sustained service and scholarly work have strengthened the mission of Chemistry Europe and its member societies. Fellows retain the designation for life and often serve as ambassadors for pan‑European collaboration. Past Chemistry Europe Fellows include Nobel Laureates Ben Feringa (The Netherlands), Jean-Marie Lehn (France), and Sir Fraser Stoddart (USA).
